0 comments Posted by The Dope Boy at 10:05 AM
Donny's new album "Minute After Midnight" is officially available at the Amalgam Digital website!! I haven't copped a copy yet myself but judging from the singles and video I can see the album being dope as hell! I've read some reviews on other websites and the word "classic" has been tossed around so i'll hit y'all back with my own opinion after I give the album a proper listen. The album is Executive Produced by legendary producer Dame Grease (DMX, Jadakiss, The Lox) and it also features dope production by Aussie producer M-Phazes!
For now, support Donny and support good Hip Hop music.... go cop that album!

Y'all know I ain't up on SB like that but I just had to post this video where he kinda goes in on Charles Hamilton after Charles had a few words to say about the negative affect Soulja Boy has had on other aspiring rappers & artists... SB don't really get aggressive but he sure does clown on dude and I found myself agreeing with the kid on a lot of the points he was making.... Still, I fux with Charles, but SB did shoot him some real advice so here's hoping he takes it.

If you don't know Donny, he was Born in Manhattan and spent his youth going back and forth between Philly, the Bronx, and Harlem. Ingrained with a street mentality that some can only imitate, Donny knew that to fill the holes in his life, something had to change, something had to happen. His energies had to focus on a positive to avoid the negative. Putting pen to paper allowed him a release from his real world; yet aware that what he penned people would relate to.
Donny was also a friend & colleague of the late producer Disco D whom you might know from 50 Cent's "Ski Mask Way" Record.
Donny's new album Minute After Mindight is dropping Dec. 16th and you can check out his websites to cop and find more details:

I'd heard rumour's for years about Beyonce and her manager/father's strong arm tactics when it came to liberating up & coming songriters and artists of their potential hit records but this is just too blatant.... SMH.
So your wondering who the girl in the photo above is? It's BC Jean, the orginal writer and singer of "If I Were A Boy" which Beyonce and her father, Matthew Knowles, shwacked straight up, recorded and released without so much as telling BC Jean.... DAAAAAMN!
It's a long story but you can read it all here and if you like "If I Were A Boy" then go check out the original as sung by BC Jean, it's just as good if not better.
Bottom-line.... BC Jean got her writing credits and just dues but only after Beyonce and Co. attempted to blatantly hijack the song and all writing credits. No matter what, you gotta stand up against the lying, cheating, stealing music industry scum and fight for yours!
To read the full story head over to Fox News
To listen to BC Jean's "If I Were A Boy" log-on to www.bcjean.net
I will say this before I go though; I'm no Beyonce hater, I think she's quite amazing and it's a well known fact that plenty of huge singing stars don't write their own material, but blatanlty jacking somebody's song, re-recording it, releasing it and claiming songwriting credits all without even handling business with the owner of the music is just crazy!
