Just received an email from my good and always witty mate Harro, about Kanye West's latest "statement" regarding his belief that he is to Hip Hop what Michael Jordan is to Basketball.... that's a big ass stretch in my humble baller opinion, Ye' is a great Hip Hop artist but he aint on that Jordan level yet, I dont see the comparison at this point. I also wouldn't call him "the voice of his generation". One thing I will say about Kanye is this: That dude can talk, talk, talk, but he does a lot of walking too so who know's what he will have achieved 10 years from now.... but bottom-line, Ye' ain't Mike.

Kanye West says he's 'voice of this generation'
LONDON – Kanye West is to music what Michael Jordan was to basketball — at least that's what West thinks, in his humble estimation. "I realize that my place and position in history is that I will go down as the voice of this generation, of this decade, I will be the loudest voice," he said in an interview on Wednesday. "It's me settling into that position of just really accepting that it's one thing to say you want to do it and it's another thing to really end up being like Michael Jordan."
My mate Harro had his own lil' quote on the topic that I gotta share with y'all...
"Personally I think Kanye West is to rap to what John Amaechi is to basketball. He put the gay in it." - Harro AKA Sparrowghandi
