What’s up Family!
The night was full of amazing live performances and many deserving artists were presented with IMA's but as long-time contributors to the N.T Hip Hop scene, Pott Street can't help but feel that the biggest winner on the night was N.T Hip Hop with local artists MC Hora and Kaotik Da Kid picking up the "Peoples Choice Song of the Year" Award for their dope song "The Turn Around" in addition to the two IMA's Pott Street picked up.
On behalf of the Pott Street crew I would like to thank the IMA committee, MusicNT, Artback, Radio Larrakia, ABC Radio, TEABBA Radio, 4K1G, NITV, N.T News, all the tireless organisers and fantastic sponsors, our fellow artists and all the great fans, friends and family for making the Indigenous Music Awards 2009 such a special and memorable event. We'll be back next year!
Pott Street would also appreciate your support in our effort to achieve the #1 spot on Triplejunearthed.com, so if your a fan of Triple J and that good Pott Street music, head over to www.triplejunearthed.com/pottstreet to Listen to, Rate and Review our new songs “Struggle” and “Sets Me Free”! At the moment "Struggle" is sitting high on the Hip Hop charts so if you could please check the music out it would really help us climb up the ranks!
We’ll have some Photo’s and Video from the IMA’s online shortly and don’t forget, the new album “High North” is coming soon so keep your ears wide and your eyes peeled!
Thank You for supporting local Indigenous Aussie Hip Hop coming out of the N.T!
Peace.
